Google feeds Gemini Deep Research with data from Workspace applications to give the research tool more context about your company.

Google is expanding the presence of Gemini Deep Research in Workspace. This variant of the Gemini model specializes in in-depth analysis and can produce a comprehensive report in moments. Since the beginning of this year, Deep Research was already available within the Workspace environment, but now you can connect the research assistant to applications.

The integration is available to all Gemini users, Google reports. Deep Research can access Gmail, Drive and all associated applications or even Google Chat. This way, it can use company-specific data from reports and potentially supplement or compare it with information it retrieves from the internet. According to Google, this was one of the most requested capabilities for Gemini.
