Microsoft is raising the prices of all Microsoft 365 business plans. The planned price increase will take effect in the summer of 2026.
Microsoft is making Microsoft 365 more expensive for business users. All subscriptions will increase in price from July 1, 2026. Microsoft is announcing the price increase in dollars today. The price increase will be implemented worldwide, with adjustments for the local market.
We do not yet know the exact additional cost in euros, but the relative increase will be similar. Deduct a little from the new dollar price, and you will not be far off in euros. If Microsoft in Belgium responds to our request for more details about local prices, we will update this article.
The planned price increase per month is as follows:
| Microsoft 365 | Current price ($) | New price ($) |
| Business Basic | 6 | 7 |
| Business Standard | 12,5 | 14 |
| Business Premium | 22 | 22 |
| Office 365 E1 | 10 | 10 |
| Office 365 E3 | 23 | 26 |
| Microsoft 365 E3 | 36 | 39 |
| Microsoft 365 E5 | 57 | 60 |
| Microsoft 365 F1 | 2,25 | 3 |
| Microsoft 365 F3 | 8 | 10 |
The prices apply to subscriptions with Microsoft Teams. Versions without Teams will increase equivalently in price. Note that the price of Business Premium remains unchanged according to current plans.
New features, new price
Microsoft refers to the more than 1,100 new features that have been rolled out over the past year across Microsoft 365, security, SharePoint, and Copilot. The rollout of Copilot and Copilot Chat in the Office suite in particular is receiving a lot of attention. Microsoft states that these additions have increased the value of the Microsoft 365 subscriptions.
The extent to which everyone is served with these new features, and specifically the imposed AI functionality, is not discussed. There is no option to stick with the existing prices by, for example, rejecting functionality.
