Cybersecurity company Check Point announces the acquisition of Veriti Cybersecurity. The company plans to integrate Veriti’s technology into its Infinity Platform.
Check Point acquires Veriti Cybersecurity and plans to integrate the technology into its Infinity Platform. With this, the company aims to proactively address cyber threats in complex multi-vendor IT environments. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2025.
Integration of Veriti into Infinity platform
Veriti developed an automated platform that detects, prioritizes, and addresses risks in IT environments without disrupting business processes. The technology works in environments where security tools from multiple vendors are active. The platform collects data from more than 70 security tools and applies virtual patches based on known vulnerabilities, including those detected by vendors such as CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Rapid7.

With the acquisition, Check Point aims to strengthen its approach to proactive risk management. Veriti’s technology will be integrated into Check Point’s Infinity Platform. This should lead to faster detection, coordination, and mitigation of threats across different systems and vendors.
The solution focuses on Preemptive Exposure Management. This involves continuously monitoring vulnerabilities and configuration errors in a hybrid IT environment with endpoints, cloud platforms, and data centers. Thanks to API integrations, Veriti can function without agents, which should simplify implementation in existing environments.
Strengthening existing collaborations
Veriti also offers support for cloud exposure management, including integration with Wiz. Vulnerable servers or applications detected by Wiz can be automatically virtually patched via Check Point or other security gateways. This also strengthens the existing collaboration between Check Point and Wiz.

According to Check Point, traditional, reactive security is no longer adequate in an IT landscape characterized by AI-driven attacks and highly distributed IT assets. The combination of Veriti “s technology with the existing offering should provide companies with a comprehensive overview of their digital risks”, both internal and external.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2025, subject to approval and customary conditions.
