1Password is adjusting the price of its Individual and Families plans to support further investments in security and new features.
1Password has sent out an email to inform its users about an upcoming price increase, reports The Verge. Both the Individual and Families plans will increase by 33 percent.
Maintaining features
“Since 2005, 1Password has positioned itself as an accessible and user-friendly security solution,” the company writes in the email. In recent years, autofill for AI agent credentials, a more extensive security layer, and location-based passwords have been added. It also introduced AI-supported item naming and proactive phishing prevention.
New price at next renewal
According to the company, current rates will remain in effect until the next renewal occurring before March 27, 2026. From that date, the annual price for the Individual plan will increase from 31.80 euros to 43.80 euros per year. Families subscribers will pay 69 euros per year instead of 57 euros.
The price increase applies to renewals on or after March 27, 2026. Those who renew their subscription before that date will keep the current rate until the following renewal.
