Xiaomi says it’s bringing affordable tablets to the market with the Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 4G.

The new Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 4G from Xiaomi target consumers looking for an affordable tablet for daily entertainment. The tablet features an 11-inch screen, improved performance, and integration with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.

New Tablets Aim for Daily Use and Entertainment

Xiaomi expands its tablet lineup with the Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 4G. Both models are equipped with an 11-inch 2.5K screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a pixel density of 274 ppi. It is certified for eye comfort with features such as DC dimming and TÜV Rheinland labels for low blue light emission, among others.

The tablets contain a quad-speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. This makes them suitable for media such as videos, music, and games. The 4G variant also offers dual SIM support for use on the go without Wi-Fi.

HyperOS 2 and Accessories Offer more User Convenience

Both devices run on Xiaomi HyperOS 2. This is designed to work better with other Xiaomi devices such as the Xiaomi 14T Pro. Users can answer phone calls on the tablet, automatically activate their phone’s hotspot, or copy text and images between devices. These features are meant to simplify working with multiple screens.

The tablets run on the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor and contain a 9,000mAh battery, suitable for long-term use. Optional accessories such as the Redmi Smart Pen and a protective case with stand expand the possibilities, including for note-taking and hands-free viewing.

The Redmi Pad 2 is available in Graphite Gray and Mint Green, in versions of 4GB+128GB for €199.90 and 8GB+256GB for €249.90. The 4G variant costs €249.90 and €299.90 respectively.
