The new Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro combine a triple camera system with a refreshed design and new communication features, including offline communication without a mobile network.
Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 15T Series in Munich. The lineup includes two models: the Xiaomi 15T and the Xiaomi 15T Pro. Both devices put a strong emphasis on mobile photography, featuring a triple camera system co-developed with Leica. The 15T series also introduces a notable innovation: an offline communication feature reminiscent of walkie-talkies.
The Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are available in three colors. Prices start at €649.99 including VAT for the 15T and €799.99 including VAT for the 15T Pro.
Leica Camera System
The Xiaomi T series smartphones feature a triple camera system developed in collaboration with Leica. The Xiaomi 15T includes a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens, while the Xiaomi 15T Pro includes a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and the new Leica 5x Pro telephoto lens.
With the introduction of the Leica 5x Pro telephoto lens in the T Series, the Xiaomi 15T Pro offers 5x optical zoom, 10x zoom at an optical level, and up to 20x Ultra Zoom. Both devices also feature a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The 15T Pro goes even further thanks to the Light Fusion 900 sensor and support for 4K video up to 120 fps. Xiaomi also integrates its AISP 2.0 platform, which performs portrait and color optimizations. The devices additionally offer a dedicated Leica Street Photography mode and various bokeh effects for creative portrait shots. For videographers, the Pro model delivers 4K 60 fps Log recording with LUT support.
Offline Communication
A standout addition to the 15T Series is Xiaomi Offline Communication. This technology enables direct device-to-device communication without a mobile network or Wi‑Fi. The range is up to 1.9 km for the 15T Pro. In addition, Xiaomi Astral Communication provides intelligent signal optimization through a combination of GPS, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile networks.
Both devices run on the new HyperOS 3 and feature a 6.83-inch display with high brightness and refresh rate. The 15T Pro has thinner bezels and a refresh rate up to 144 Hz. Under the hood are the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ (Pro) and 8400 Ultra (15T), paired with a 5,500 mAh battery. According to the brand, charging speeds reach up to 90W wired and 50W wireless on the Pro version.
The casing of both models is water- and dust-resistant (IP68) and uses Corning Gorilla Glass. The 15T Pro features an aluminum alloy for extra drop protection.
