The new Samsung Smart Monitor M9 features a QD-OLED display and AI-driven optimization.
Samsung launches a new Smart Monitor series consisting of the Smart Monitor M9, M8, and M7. The Smart Monitor M9 is equipped with an AI-powered QD-OLED display. The M8 and M7, on the other hand, feature a 32-inch 4K UHD display and also benefit from AI functions. The M9, M8, and M7 monitors are priced at 1,699 euros, 699 euros, and 399 euros respectively, including VAT. VAT. M9 Gets QD-OLED and AI
Samsung has released the Smart Monitor M9, the first model in the series with a QD-OLED display. The 32-inch 4K display combines high brightness with high contrast and wide color reproduction. The M9 also features a Glare Free coating to reduce reflections. Samsung applies its OLED Safeguard+ in this model, a cooling system that reduces the risk of burn-in.
The monitor includes various AI functions such as AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro and Active Voice Amplifier Pro. These automatically adjust the image and sound based on content and environment. The monitor further supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms.
Smart Monitor M8 and M7
The Smart Monitor M8 and M7 retain their UHD resolution and are now also equipped with AI functions. Both models have a 32-inch VA panel. The M7 is also available in 43 inches. They offer support for SmartThings, Multi Control between Samsung devices and Multi View. The displays can edit documents via Microsoft 365 without the need for a PC.
The M9 is sold from 1,699 euros. The M8 and M7 cost 699 and 399 euros respectively for the 32-inch model. The 43-inch variant of the M7 has a recommended retail price of 499 euros. All models are available from July 14. Samsung provides up to seven years of software updates via One UI Tizen for this line.
