Samsung expands its Galaxy S series with the Galaxy S25 Edge. The device combines a thin design with a 200 MP camera, AI functionality, and a customized version of the Snapdragon 8 chipset.
Thin Housing and Robust Materials
The Galaxy S25 Edge has a housing that is 5.8 mm thick and weighs 163 grams. Samsung opts for a titanium frame and Corning ceramic glass for the front. According to the manufacturer, this glass provides extra durability and clarity. The rounded edges of the device are designed for a better grip.
Despite its compact size, the device retains features of other models in the Galaxy S25 series, such as the S25+ and S25 Ultra. The design is aligned with previously released models in the same line. The Galaxy S25 Edge is intended for users looking for a light and portable device without sacrificing functionality.
Camera and Performance with AI Support
The main camera has a resolution of 200 MP. This sensor should deliver better performance in low light conditions and capture sharper images. The second camera is a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus, which also enables macro shots. Image processing is driven by the ProVisual Engine, which aims to optimize colors and details, among other things.
The device features editing functions that utilize Galaxy AI. Examples include Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist, which allow users to adjust photos and audio fragments on the device.

Inside, the Galaxy S25 Edge runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the same processor as in other devices from the Galaxy S25 series. Additionally, the device offers AI support through features such as ProScaler and integration with Google Gemini. The latter enables live interaction via the camera or screen. Data processing is partly done locally on the device.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in three colors: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue.
