Panasonic launches wireless presentation system without software installation

Panasonic’s new wireless presentation system enables screen sharing without installing software.

The latest version of Panasonic’ s PressIT wireless presentation system enables screen sharing without requiring users to install software. The WPS2 series supports up to 32 devices and can control four screens simultaneously. The system, designed for business and educational environments, will be available from February 2025.

Flexible screen sharing

Panasonic’s PressIT system offers a plug-and-play solution that allows users to give presentations wirelessly via PC, tablet or smartphone. The system uses a transmitter that can be easily connected and supports 4K image quality. No software installation is required, allowing presentations to start quickly without delays.

The latest version, the WPS2 series, uses wireless LAN on the 6GHz band, providing more connection channels and flexible installation options. An enhanced multicast feature eliminates the need for a router to display video from a single device on multiple screens. This is especially useful during seminars or training sessions.

The system supports up to 32 devices simultaneously and can control four screens at the same time. This allows users to easily compare documents or collaborate in a shared presentation. In addition, the system is compatible with various operating systems and mobile devices.

Simplicity

Panasonic sees the system as a solution to the growing need for hybrid collaboration capabilities in meeting rooms. By eliminating cables and complex installation processes, the company aims to eliminate wasted time and make collaboration more efficient.

Now available through Panasonic, the new PressIT system offers a combination of user-friendliness and safety, suitable for various professional and educational applications, according to the company. The product will be available from February 2025 and the recommended retail price is 1,370 euros excluding VAT.
