Nothing has announced the Phone 4a series with two models: the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro.
Nothing has introduced the Phone 4a series, consisting of the Phone 4a and the Phone 4a Pro. The smartphones feature a refreshed transparent design, an advanced camera system, and new AI features via Nothing OS 4.1. The new range aims to appeal to the mid-range smartphone market with features previously found in more expensive devices. Both devices combine a customized design with a Snapdragon chipset and support for on-device AI functions.
Updated design and camera system
The Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro build on the transparent design that is a hallmark of Nothing. The Phone 4a Pro features a metal unibody and a 7.95 mm profile. The device has an IP65 rating for dust and water protection. The Phone 4a also uses a transparent back and has an IP64 rating.




Nothing Phone 4a is available in blue, pink, black, and white.
The smartphones feature an advanced camera system. The Phone 4a Pro has a Sony LYT700c main camera and a 50 MP periscopic telephoto lens with optical image stabilization. This allows the device to support up to 140x zoom. The camera is complemented by an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32 MP selfie camera.
The Phone 4a also features a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP periscopic telephoto lens. The system supports up to 70x zoom. Both devices use TrueLens Engine 4 for image processing and support Ultra XDR photos and 4K Ultra XDR video.



Nothing Phone 4a Pro met metalen behuizing is beschikbaar in het zilver, roze en zwart.
Nothing also retains the Glyph lighting on the back. The Phone 4a uses a Glyph Bar with 63 mini-LEDs for notifications and status information. The Phone 4a Pro features a Glyph Matrix with 137 mini-LEDs.
Snapdragon chip and Nothing OS 4.1
The Phone 4a Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, while the Phone 4a uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. According to Nothing, the Pro variant delivers up to 27 percent better CPU performance and 30 percent better graphics performance than the previous generation.
Both devices run on Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16. The operating system introduces new personalization options, widgets, and a customized lock screen. It also includes various AI features, such as Essential Search, Essential Memory, and the ability to create small apps via Playground.

The smartphones have a 5,080 mAh battery and support fast charging up to 50 W. According to the company, the battery can be charged to 60 percent in about 30 minutes.
The Nothing Phone 4a is available in black, white, blue, and pink in three configurations: 8 + 128 GB, 8 + 256 GB, and 12 + 256 GB. The prices are 349, 389, and 429 euros respectively, including VAT. The Phone 4a Pro starts at 479 euros including VAT for 8 + 128 GB and 549 euros including VAT for 12 / 256 GB. The Pro variant is available in black, silver, and pink.
Pre-orders for the Phone 4a start on March 5, 2026, with general sales beginning on March 13, 2026. For the Phone 4a Pro pre-order, customers will have to wait until March 13, 2026. Open sales start on March 27, 2026.
