Motorola expands its Edge 60 series with two new models: Edge 60 Pro and Edge 60.

Motorola launches the Edge 60 Pro and Edge 60 in Belgium. Both devices feature a quad-curved screen, a four-lens camera system, and new AI functions that enhance interaction with the smartphone.

New Models Focus on Design, Camera, and AI

The Edge 60 Pro and Edge 60 are Motorola’s first smartphones in this segment with a quad-curved display. The screen is 6.7 inches and uses pOLED technology. Thanks to Pantone validation, colors and skin tones should be displayed more accurately. The devices are equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass and have an IP68/IP69 rating, meaning they are resistant to water, dust, and shocks.

Both models feature four cameras, including a 50 MP main camera with the Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10 MP telephoto lens. The Edge 60 Pro offers up to 50x digital zoom and a 50 MP front camera. AI functions such as Group Shot, Video Quality Enhancements, and a Photo Enhancement Engine support users in capturing images. The cameras are certified for color and skin tone reproduction by Pantone.

Moto AI is integrated into both smartphones and assists users through features such as Catch Me Up, Remember This, and Smart Connect. This AI recognizes, for example, what’s on the screen and provides suggestions for follow-up actions. Users can also mirror content from their device to other devices.

Performance, Battery, and Sustainability

The Edge 60 Pro runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme chipset and includes a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. Wireless charging is possible at 15W. The Edge 60 gets a 5,200 mAh battery with 68W fast charging. According to the manufacturer, both devices achieve a full day of autonomy with a short charging session of just a few minutes.

Motorola also emphasizes the use of recycled aluminum in the design and an energy efficiency rating of A for both models. The Edge 60 Pro received the Gold Label for battery performance from DXOMARK.

The devices will be available in Belgium from April 25 (Edge 60 Pro) and from mid-May (Edge 60). The recommended prices are 599.99 euros and 429.99 euros including VAT, respectively.
