Logitech Sync cloud-based management platform expands from meeting rooms to office and home workstations.
Anyone using Logitech hardware in meeting rooms within the organization today can conveniently manage it through the Logitech Sync software. It provides insights such as meeting room availability and occupancy, as well as the right information for IT managers to make important choices based on data.
The cloud-based management tool now extends to the workplace, whether in the office or at home. Thanks to the update, Sync now also supports remote management of personal devices, such as webcams, headsets and the Logi Dock.
At home, in the office or elsewhere
Scott Wharton, GM of Logitech Video Collaboration: “Remote working and the tools to collaborate have helped sustain the economy in many ways, and they have helped us all stay productive during the pandemic. However, a problem has also arisen now that hundreds of millions of people are working from home. This is because IT departments have only partial, if any, insight into technical issues that arise among their colleagues.”
“Thanks to Sync, they do get these valuable insights so that, regardless of location, they can decisively solve and prevent peer problems in the future. Through this closer connectivity and comprehensive data collection, companies can ensure greater efficiency in a changing hybrid work environment.”
Beta now available
Logitech Sync works seamlessly with Logitech Tune. The latter is comprehensive software that allows employees to optimize and personalize their own webcam, headset or Logi Dock.
Those who want to test the new features can participate in a public free beta test. You can request early access to the phased rollout through the Sync Portal now.
