Lenovo introduces new mobile workstations and business laptops within the ThinkPad series. The devices focus on AI-based workflows and hybrid work models.
Lenovo expands the ThinkPad range with four new devices. Within the renewed lineup, Lenovo launches, among others, the ThinkPad P14s Gen and the ThinkPad P16s Gen 4 AMD. Both models are equipped with AMD Ryzen AI PRO 300 Series processors.
Workstations for and with AI
They support up to 50 TOPS of AI computing power and feature integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics cards. This combination makes them suitable for CAD, BIM, and other demanding applications. Thanks to the unified memory architecture, up to 75 percent of the memory can be allocated to the GPU, ensuring better performance for graphically intensive tasks.
The devices are certified by independent software vendors and support AI applications such as virtual meetings and document management. Lenovo also adds improved collaboration features, including 5MP RGB+IR cameras, Dolby Atmos audio, and AI functions via Lenovo View.
Business ThinkPads
In addition to the P-series, Lenovo also introduces new models in the L-series, including the ThinkPad L13 Gen 6 and L13 2-in-1 Gen 6. These models have received a more compact design and offer a screen-to-body ratio of up to 84.7 percent. They are equipped with bright 400-nit displays. The 2-in-1 version features an extra outward-facing camera and built-in stylus.
The L14 Gen 6 and L16 Gen 2 are available with both Intel and AMD processors, including Copilot+ models with AI. They offer up to 64 GB of memory and 2 TB SSD storage for various usage scenarios.
Aura
Finally, Lenovo also expands its premium range with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition and X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura. These models combine a lightweight design with Intel Core Ultra processors and business features such as ThinkShield security and improved video conferencing.
The new devices will be available from May or June 2025, depending on the model. Starting prices range from 1,069 euros for the ThinkPad L13 models to 1,879 euros for the X1 2-in-1 Aura, excluding VAT.
