Dell Technologies expands its lineup of displays with several new devices across its range. The most notable innovation is a compact portable monitor for on-the-go use.
Dell Technologies launches six new displays, spread across different product categories. With these monitors, Dell aims to provide solutions for numerous scenarios, starting with a portable monitor for those seeking screen space while traveling. The same confusing naming convention of the laptops makes its way into the display lineup, with a collection of Pros and Pluses. Every display is Plus, but not all of them are Pro.
First and foremost, Dell introduces the Dell Pro 14 Plus. This portable 14-inch IPS monitor has a 16:10 ratio with space for 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The Dell Pro 14 Plus works both horizontally and vertically. The monitor weighs 620 grams and is equipped with a sturdy base featuring both USB-C connections and buttons. The device can handle up to 65 watts of charging capacity.

Like similar products, you connect it to your laptop via a USB-C cable. The display can then utilize your laptop’s battery, although it’s generally more beneficial to connect your device to a power outlet. The Dell Pro Plus 14 is immediately available at a recommended retail price of €307.83, including VAT.
Hub Displays
Next, Dell launches a trio of displays with USB-C hub functionality: the Dell Pro 34 Plus USB-C Hub monitor (P3425WE) and the Dell Pro 32/27 Plus 4K USB-C Hub monitors (P32/2725QE). These operate via USB-C, delivering 90 watts of power. Peripherals can be connected through the display. There’s also room for wired connectivity via the 1 GbE RJ45 port.
The displays have a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and screen diagonals of 34, 32, and 27 inches respectively.

The Dell Pro 34 Plus is available at a recommended retail price of €794.25 incl. VAT. The 32-inch variant costs €824.5 incl. VAT, and the 27-inch version €655.10. It’s not entirely clear why the 32-inch variant costs more in Belgium than the 34-inch monitor, as the larger screen is more expensive in the shared recommended prices in dollars.
Lifestyle Variant
The Dell 34 Plus USB-C monitor (S3425DW) and the Dell 27 Plus 4K USB-C monitor (S2725QC) are, according to Dell, lifestyle monitors. We understand that they should be able to handle daily tasks such as social media use and entertainment. Presumably, they also won’t burn out when you try to display professional content like a spreadsheet.

The displays have a panel with 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. For the 34-inch version, this is curved; for the smaller variant, it’s not. They support AMD FreeSync Premium and have 5W speakers on board. Here too, Dell provides USB hub functionality with various connections, although RJ45 is missing.
The Dell 34 Plus USB-C monitor with a 34-inch screen diagonal costs €419.58 incl. VAT. The Dell 27 Plus 4K USB-C monitor costs €403.43.
