Brother releases wireless A3 inkjet all-in-one printers for small offices

Brother launches its new range of Business Smart A3 inkjet printers with A3 printing, copying, scanning and faxing.

Brother has announced a new range of wireless A3 inkjet all-in-one printers under the name Business Smart A3, with support for color and A3 printing, scanning and copying. The series targets small office environments and combines A3 functionality with mobile operation and standard multi-level security.

This includes the MFC-J6760DW with a specified print speed of up to 31 ipm, a 250-sheet paper tray and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder. The printer comes down to 395 euros incl. VAT.

The second model, the MFC-J6960DW, adds a larger color touchscreen and extra paper capacity via two 250-sheet trays, plus a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray. The price for this printer is slightly higher, namely 590 euros incl. VAT.

Mobile operation

Brother is expanding its inkjet range with devices that, in addition to A3, also offer direct access via PC, mobile devices and USB. The printers also support fax functionality. A central component in the new series is the MAXIDRIVE print chip, which uses piezo-electric printing technology. Brother refers to automatic maintenance and components that are designed for long-term use.

For mobile use, Brother relies on the Brother Mobile Connect app. This allows users to set up the device, start print and scan jobs and monitor ink levels. Frequently used functions can also be personalized within the app.

Subscription

Brother builds in security as standard via a three-layer approach at device, network and document level. The company describes this as ‘Secure by Design’, with the aim of supporting the integrity of data during the printing and scanning process.
