More than a third of PCs in Belgium are still running Windows 10 today. In two weeks, support for Windows 10 will come to an end.
On October 14, 2025, support for Windows 10 will definitively end. Although the deadline is approaching, figures from Statcounter show that a large portion of Belgian users remain loyal to Windows 10.
A third of PCs in Belgium are still running Windows 10, while approximately 60 percent have already switched to Windows 11.
Gradual Shift
The share of Windows 11 users in Belgium is rising very gradually. In Belgium, the percentage of PCs with Windows 11 is at 60.35 percent, which is a slight increase compared to August, when the share was at 57 percent. For Windows 10 users, we notice a slight decrease from August to September from 41.3 percent to 38.53 percent.

Extended Support
The reason many users have not yet said goodbye to Windows 10 is likely due to the extended support. Microsoft recently promised that it will continue to support Windows 10 for an additional year in the European Economic Area, until October 2026. This support does not come with costs or additional conditions.
