The latest version of Signal for Android includes the ability to send scheduled voice messages. Additionally, the app’s accessibility has been improved, and various minor bugs have been fixed. The app also includes a new network stack, which contributes to overall stability.

Another addition is the ability to quickly view all groups you share with a specific contact. This makes it easier to verify a contact’s identity. iOS users
For iOS users, there is an improvement in media selection, among other things. Signal now uses the iOS media viewer, making it easier to navigate through images and videos. Users can jump directly to the message containing a specific image or video. Additionally, various minor bugs have been fixed in the iOS version.
The new versions of Signal (Android version 7.41 and iOS version 7.57) also include preparatory steps for the introduction of end-to-end encrypted backups. This feature will be available to all users of the app in the future.
