LinkedIn introduces several new AI-driven functionalities aimed at improving the job search and recruitment process for both job seekers and employers.
LinkedIn launches a new AI-driven search function, AI-powered Job Search, allowing job seekers to describe their ideal job in plain language, without the need for specific keywords or filters. The tool thus delivers more relevant job openings, even for positions users might not otherwise consider. This new functionality comes alongside other AI products that further enhance the application experience. The feature is not yet available in Europe, but according to LinkedIn, ‘other regions will follow later this year’.
Simplifying job search
Approximately 33 percent of Dutch professionals find it challenging to find the right job, not due to a lack of vacancies, but because they don’t know which keywords, filters, or job titles to use. LinkedIn is launching the new AI-powered Job Search to simplify this search process.
Users can now easily describe the type of work they’re looking for in their own words, and the AI delivers matching job openings based on this. This means job seekers are no longer bound by specific search terms or filters. The feature is currently available to users in the US, India, Singapore, Canada, the UK, and Australia. Other regions will follow later this year.
