Siemens Intelligence Center X brings industrial AI (literally) to production

Siemens

Siemens introduces Intelligence Center X, a new industrial AI orchestration software that helps organizations transform pilots into scalable production processes. The system integrates AI agents with human teams.

With Intelligence Center X, Siemens aims to bridge the gap between isolated AI experiments and orchestrated industrial applications. The platform combines data, workflows, and AI agents in a single managed system, enabling organizations to operate faster and more consistently. Early users report improvements in efficiency and decision-making.

The software is available as part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio and offers three implementation models for different sectors. Companies can integrate the system with existing data solutions from partners such as Snowflake, which together with Siemens brings together OT and IT data.

Hybrid collaboration between humans and AI

Intelligence Center X positions itself as the first ‘production-ready’ system that enables AI agents and human teams to collaborate within shared context and workflows. By connecting enterprise data, models, and applications, organizations can integrate AI-driven processes directly into their daily operations. This ensures traceability, control, and measurable impact at scale.

The platform is built on the low-code platform of subsidiary Mendix and Siemens’ own Graph Studio and AI Studio software. This combination makes it possible to quickly deploy AI-driven applications and agents with full lifecycle context. According to Tony Hemmelgarn, CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software, AI is only valuable when it is embedded in the way organizations work.

AI in production

Intelligence Center X is designed for organizations that want to implement AI at production level, with full controllability. The platform supports three implementation models, ranging from a layer on top of Siemens AI products to a pure agent-based enterprise platform for sectors such as financial services and healthcare.
