Salesforce Launches Agentforce Vibes for AI-driven Application Development

Salesforce introduces Agentforce Vibes. It’s a new development environment that turns natural language into working code, aimed at building production-ready business applications.

Salesforce will never let a good hype pass it by. Amid the tsunami of AI applications, the CRM specialist is introducing Agentforce Vibes. Agentforce Vibes is a platform for so-called vibe coding, a method where people describe in natural language what they want to build. The AI then converts that input into usable code. According to Salesforce, this approach suits the full development lifecycle—from idea to delivery.

In that sense, vibe coding is a euphemism. From the user’s side, coding isn’t necessarily involved. The term refers to the practice where non-developers can describe what they want, and an AI, instead of a human programmer, turns those requirements into reality.

Secure Integration

Salesforce aims to differentiate Agentforce Vibes from other tools with built-in security and governance support. The tool is fully integrated into the Salesforce platform and works with existing components such as Salesforce Sandboxes, Code Analyzer, and DevOps Center. Developers can use Agentforce Vibes within any IDE compatible with VS Code, such as Anypoint Code Builder, Cursor, or Windsurf.

At the core of Agentforce Vibes is Vibe Codey—an AI agent that acts as a programming partner. This agent understands the structure of Salesforce projects and generates context-specific code in languages like Apex, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Users can interact with Vibe Codey to, for example, refactor code, generate test cases, or fix bugs.

Multiple Models

The agent supports multiple AI models, including GPT-5, Claude, and xGen, and works with the Model Context Protocol (MCP). As a result, Vibe Codey can analyze existing code, reuse it, and adapt it to established standards.

Beyond Vibe Codey, Agentforce Vibes can be extended with other AI agents via the Salesforce DX MCP Server. That server supports a wide range of development tasks, from mobile applications to Lightning Web Components.

Agentforce Vibes is now generally available, albeit with a limit on the number of requests. Salesforce plans further enhancements, including paid access to additional compute and premium AI models.

AI Spotlight

Salesforce is working hard to position itself as an AI company. During last year’s Dreamforce, it presented itself as a pioneer in AI agents and launched three versions in a single year of what it calls Agentforce, with ambiguous and above all dramatic-sounding version jumps.

Behind that hype-prone messaging, however, is an increasingly mature portfolio of AI applications. Simplicity and turnkey integration within the Salesforce platform further lower the barrier for customers to roll out AI integrations. You can view the Salesforce flavor of vibe coding in that light.
