ChatGPT quietly rolls out a new feature that allows users to easily make changes to texts in the GPT interface.
According to BleepingComputer, ChatGPT is launching a new feature called ‘Formatting Blocks’. This allows users to easily adjust the layout of a generated text in the interface. For example, when you ask to draft a sample email, ChatGPT generates a plain text that still needs to be supplemented. With the new Formatting Blocks, you can easily do that within the interface itself.
Formatting Blocks
Until now, the texts that ChatGPT created were displayed in plain text. Users had to copy and paste the content to further implement the secondary operations in, for example, Word. OpenAI is now launching a feature that automatically recognizes when certain content is a “formatted document”.

Users can open a mini-toolbar that is similar to that of Microsoft Word. This way you can easily make changes to the text. This includes adjustments such as bold or italic, alignment, bullet points or quote blocks.
