With Gemini Live, Google tried to create the most natural conversation partner possible. The AI bot can conduct conversations or brainstorming sessions with you. Moreover, the AI bot can anticipate when you suddenly change topics during the conversation, or can’t get out of your words.

Those who previously wanted to use Gemini Live had to have a Google One Premium AI subscription. This gives users access to Gemini Advanced, where the Live feature is available. Now the company is announcing via a post on X that Gemini Live will now be available for Android users for free. iOS users will have to wait a little longer.

Gemini Live was only available in English (US). Starting today, Google is adding support for forty additional languages, including Dutch. In addition, Google will expand Extensions in Gemini, such as Calendar, Tasks, Keep and Utilities, to more languages in the coming weeks, making it even easier for users to connect to different apps, it let our editors know.
