Google Veo 3 can now create vertical videos and supports 1080p resolution.
Google is making three changes to its Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast AI video generator. Veo 3 now supports vertical videos with a 9:16 aspect ratio and can create videos with 1080p resolution. Additionally, Google is lowering its prices for Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast.
Vertical Videos and 1080p Support
With Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast, you can now create vertical videos. Google makes it possible to set the aspect ratio to 9:16, making the videos suitable for mobile applications or social use cases. Furthermore, Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast now also offer 1080p support. You can set this resolution yourself for higher quality.

Price Reduction for Developers
Google also announces that prices for developers have been reduced. Veo 3 previously cost 0.75 cents per second, which has now been lowered to 0.40 cents per second. For Veo 3 Fast, the price goes from 0.40 cents per second to 0.15 cents per second.
