Need to touch up your makeup before an online meeting? With Google Meet, that’s no longer necessary. Google is adding an AI-powered makeup filter that applies a look of your choice. According to Google, this gives women more confidence during online meetings.

Google is adding a new makeup feature to its Google Meet video conferencing app. You can choose from twelve new studio makeup looks with a range of options: “from a polished, professional touch to a more expressive flair.” AI applies the makeup, and it looks remarkably realistic (see below).
This isn’t the first filter feature Google has added. In 2023, portrait touch-ups were introduced to subtly enhance your face during a meeting. According to Google, this helps users feel more comfortable and confident.
