Search button editing tools
Google Photos has a whole range of editing tools. To navigate these easily, the company is currently working on a new feature that allows you to find the right editing tools more easily to edit images on your smartphone. This search button is displayed at the bottom right of the editing menu. When you click on this icon, you are led to a separate search screen.

In that search screen, you can easily type the name of the editing tool you are looking for. If you are looking for the function to remove a background, you can search for “erase”. Google Photos offers a whole range of editing tools. This new feature could speed up the editing process.
Furthermore, Google might also be working on a redesign in Material You style that includes a new interface and functional improvements.
