With Remote Lock, your device can be quickly locked from any device with your phone number and simple security control. These features are now available, including for most Android 10+ devices. The features are currently only available for smartphones; tablets do not yet have access to them.
Digital vault for apps
In addition, Android 15 also offers the ability to place apps in a digital vault on your phone. The apps in this Private Space are invisible until you unlock the Private Space. This is primarily a useful feature for privacy-sensitive apps, think banking apps or social media.
Furthermore, the new App Pairing feature offers new mulitask capabilities. This makes it easier to access the apps that help you get more things done, whether you’re writing an e-mail or brainstorming a document.
You can check through your Android settings menu to see if the update is available on your phone. It can usually take a few days before the rollout is visible to everyone.
