Google is looking for a new team to build generative AI models that simulate the physical world.

Google has big plans. The tech giant wants to develop generative AI models that can simulate the world. To do this, Google wants to create a new team within Google DeepMind, Google’s AI research division, who will put their shoulders to the wheel. The team will be led by Tim Brooks, one of the managers of OpenAI’s video generator Sora. Brooks already shared some job openings on his profile on X.

Brooks describes DeepMind’s plans as ambitious. Namely, Google wants to create generative AI models that can simulate the world. To this end, Google DeepMind is launching a new team. Brooks will lead the team and is currently looking for team members.
