Google is extending Dutch-language support for its Gemini chatbot to several Google extensions, including Google Tasks, Google Calendar, and Google Keep, among others.
Gemini gains additional Dutch-language skills. Google’s AI chatbot now offers Dutch-language support for even more extensions. These include Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Google Keep and popular messaging apps, such as Google Messages. These new Gemini extensions are available on Android in Dutch, but in the coming weeks they will also come to iOS.
Even more Dutch
Until now, Google Gemini was already able to contact Gmail, Drive or Maps in Dutch. From now on, the chatbot also offers Dutch-language support for other extensions such as Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Google Keep and popular messaging apps, such as Google Messages. It is also possible to use Gemini on Android to set your alarm clock or control your flashlight, for example.

For example, you might ask the chatbot in Dutch the following: “Set an alarm for tomorrow morning at seven o’clock,” “Schedule a meeting on Feb. 14 at 12:30 p.m. called Valentine’s lunch,” or “Add grocery shopping to my to-do list.”
Reading images
Gemini on Android can process images or websites from your screen. Moreover, this could also be used in conjunction with extensions. For example, you could use Gemini to take a picture of a concert poster that has a date (or even multiple dates) on it and then say, “Add this to my calendar.”
The new Gemini extensions are now available on Android in Dutch and will also come to iOS in the coming weeks.
