Fujitsu introduces a new AI-driven platform that automates the entire software development process.
Fujitsu launches an AI-powered software platform. The system is designed to increase productivity by up to a hundred times and drastically shorten development time. The platform will be widely available to customers and partners across various sectors starting in 2026.
Fujitsu hopes to revolutionize how software is developed with the AI platform. The system takes over the entire development process, from defining requirements to implementation and testing. In doing so, it utilizes multiple AI agents that collaborate at every stage without human intervention.
Vibe Coding
The platform was developed for professional use in critical business environments, so don’t talk about vibe coding out loud. Whispering is allowed, though: Fujitsu is taking the concept of vibe coding—where AI writes code based on prompts—and giving it an enterprise makeover with additional functionality for testing and reliability.

Fujitsu is deploying its own Large Language Model, Takane, which it developed together with Cohere. In other words, the underlying model is not American. This could be a refreshing advantage in a US-dominated market, especially now that the US government is pressuring its own AI companies to abandon ethical conditions.
The technology is designed to understand complex, large-scale systems and adapt to changing business and regulatory environments. Fujitsu is positioning the platform as a solution for the growing demand for IT skills and the need to respond quickly to legislative changes.
Productivity increased by a factor of one hundred
A proof of concept shows that the AI platform significantly shortens development time. In a test where software had to be adapted to the 2024 medical rate revisions, the system reduced the required time from three months for one person to just four hours. This represents a productivity increase of up to a hundred times compared to traditional development methods.
Fujitsu emphasizes that the platform not only shortens development time but also reduces the burden of system verification. This should give developers more room to focus on improving user experiences and developing new services. The company sees it as an answer to the shortage of IT professionals and the increasing complexity of IT systems.
AI-Ready Engineering as the key
For reliable automation, Fujitsu combines the AI platform with AI-Ready Engineering. This process prepares existing systems and knowledge so that the agentic AI can correctly understand and process them. Fujitsu calls this crucial for guaranteeing consistent and reliable results.
