With Dial 3.0, Epam introduces a revamped open source solution that helps companies deploy generative AI in a controlled and scalable manner.
Epam, specializing in software development and digital transformation, is bringing Dial 3.0 to market. This is a new version of its open source platform for generative AI. The update aims to help companies better manage and scale AI projects.
Dial 3.0 expands the existing platform with support for agent-based workflows and AI-native data analysis. Organizations can also deploy AI more broadly, for example, in compliance, clinical research, or operational processes. Since its launch in 2023, Dial has evolved from an internal tool to a framework used globally in sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, and fast-moving consumer goods.
Hybrid approach
According to Epam, many companies struggle with the choice between building their own GenAI environment or using a commercial solution. Dial offers a hybrid approach, allowing organizations to maintain control and reduce dependency on external vendors.
One of the first users, Altera Digital Health, states that Dial helped make processes more efficient and that the open approach provides confidence to further roll out AI. Epam views open source solutions as an important component of sustainable AI strategies.
