ChatGPT app for Windows
Several months ago, OpenAI made its ChatGPT app available to all Apple users. Now the company is announcing the launch of the ChatGPT app in the Microsoft Store. The app is still in an early version, but users with ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise and Edu subscriptions can already try it out.
The application can be used in a manner similar to the web version. In addition, you can easily open a separate chat window by pressing the key combination “‘alt’ and ‘spacebar’. In addition, it is possible to generate images or upload files, and a preview of the new o1 model appears.
The ChatGPT app for Windows currently still has some limitations. For example, it does not yet support voice and some integrations with OpenAI’s GPT Store are not yet functional.
OpenAI informs that the current app is in its early stages. Later this year, the full experience would be available to all users. This link allows users to try out the early version of the Windows app.
