Canva presents an abundance of new features in Visual Suite 2.0 suite.
Canva launches Visual Suite 2.0, a renewed all-in-one workspace that combines design, AI, and office tools in a single interface. The aim is to combine everything that Microsoft, Google, and Adobe offer into one platform. The company calls this update its biggest product launch to date.
From Whiteboard to Website in One Design
With the new update, users can simultaneously work on documents, presentations, websites, animations, and more, all in one shared design. Think of a complete marketing campaign without ever leaving the platform. According to the company, this creates the ideal combination of productivity and creativity.
Canva Sheets, an alternative to Microsoft Excel, displays data in a “powerful, visual, and creative way”. Users can import data from tools such as Google Analytics or HubSpot. The AI feature ‘Magic Insights’ automatically analyzes trends and notable points and provides explanations. Users can then convert this data into interactive graphs or visual infographics with Magic Charts.
Generate Code Without Programming Knowledge
Also new is Canva Code, an AI-powered code assistant comparable to GitHub Copilot. Users provide a simple description, and the tool generates interactive elements such as calculators or widgets, which can be immediately placed in a design. Canva is also launching its own AI chatbot: a central creative assistant that helps with everything from editing photos to creating presentations using text or voice commands. The intention is for users to access all available tools through one conversation, without having to search for them themselves.
Photoshop-like Photo Editing
The renewed Photo Editor makes it possible to remove or replace background objects with one click using AI-generated backgrounds that take into account the lighting and composition of your original photo — similar to what Adobe offers in Photoshop.
Canva clearly wants to be more than just a design platform. It aims to become the central workspace for teams and companies, with a visual and accessible approach to almost any task.
