The popular image generator Leonardi.Ai is now available in Canva’s Dream Lab.
On Tuesday, Canva launched a revamped Dream Lab, powered by Leonardo.Ai. Dream Lab is a hub meant to generate images via prompts and uses the Phoenix model.
Ample choice and opportunities
Generating one or more images can be done in more than fifteen different styles, such as 3D renderings and illustrations. This is done via text and reference images, so it is very similar to Photoshop’s generative AI functions. You can use that result afterwards in Canva itself, or you can improve its quality in the Magic Studio. There you are presented with features like Magic Design, Magic Media, Background Remover, and more.
In addition, Canva has expanded its content library to include Artlist’s Premium Video Library and 150,000 photos from the Pocstock library. That combination of Canva’s own content library, new photos and image generation gives designers a tremendous amount of options.
The photo editing tool has gained numerous other new features, such as Custom Mockups and Branded Captions. Some new features (such as Dream Lab and Branded Captions) are already available now, while others (such as Custom Mockups) will be launched soon.
