Anthropic Launches Analytics for Claude Code

Soon you will be able to access analytics from Claude Code in a paid analytics dashboard.

Anthropic announces an extensive analytics dashboard for its AI programming assistant Claude Code. They inform managers about how their teams use the tool and whether it is cost-effective.

Track Metadata

The dashboard displays various metrics: the number of accepted code lines, suggestion acceptance rates, total user activity over time, total expenditures, average daily spending per user, and daily accepted code lines per user.

Managers have been struggling to maintain oversight of AI usage within their teams for some time. The dashboard operates with different roles, so not everyone can view all information. Adam Wolff, manager of the Claude Code team, tells VentureBeat that only metadata is tracked and no actual code. “This way, we know which tools work and can adjust the tool as needed.”

For consumers and individual developers, Claude Code is part of the company’s paid subscriptions, starting at 17 dollars per month (with Claude Code limited to the regular Sonnet 4 model) and going up to 100 or 200 dollars per month for the Max subscriptions with access to the Opus 4 models and higher usage limits.

AI coding assistants and vibe coding are on the rise. GitHub Copilot recently introduced an Agents page where users can easily assign tasks to Copilot. AWS also showcases Kiro, a development environment with built-in AI agents. Hugging Face even announced the AI robot Reachy Mini to assist developers.
