Anthropic is adding a new feature to its Claude AI assistant. Custom styles allow users to customize the writing style of Anthropic’s responses to their liking. Anthropic provides three pre-installed writing styles including formal, concise and explanatory. Users can also create their own writing styles based on examples. The new feature is available to all Claude.ai users.
Personalized writing styles
Anthropic is adding new capabilities to its Claude.ai assistant. Users can now personalize the AI bot’s responses based on their needs. The company is already providing its users with three preset writing styles:
- Formal: clear and polished answers
- Concise: shorter and more direct answers
- Explanatory: educational answers for learning new concepts

Still, are these styles not quite what you’re looking for? Then you can generate your own custom style. To do this, you upload sample content into the chatbot that reflects your preferred writing style. Then you can refine it even more by giving specific instructions. The writing styles are now available to all Claude.ai users.
