Adobe is also embracing AI assistants: they can now analyze your PDF files.

Adobe introduces Acrobat Studio, a central work environment that combines PDF tools, AI assistants, and content creation. The new service makes it possible to extract insights from documents and quickly transform them into visual content.

PDFs Become Knowledge Centers

With Acrobat Studio, Adobe aims to change how PDF files are used. The service introduces ‘PDF Spaces,’ where users can transform up to 100 files, such as PDFs, web pages, and more, into interactive knowledge environments. In these environments, AI assistants can help analyze documents, formulate recommendations, and generate ideas. The AI assistant summarizes all documents with source citations included.

Additionally, the AI assistant can adopt different personalities, similar to GPT-5: analyst, instructor, and entertainer. For example, the instructor tries to explain difficult topics in a simple way. You can also create your own AI assistant by providing prompts. “This transforms the PDF format from a static file into a dynamic work environment,” Adobe writes in the announcement.

Integration with Adobe Express and Existing PDF Tools

Acrobat Studio also combines all the functionalities of Adobe Express Premium, allowing users to quickly create visual content such as infographics, presentations, and social media posts. Generative AI tools like text-to-image and text-to-video are included.

Additionally, the classic PDF functionalities remain available, such as editing, signing, combining, and securing documents. AI also helps summarize long or scanned documents. Adobe states that only files explicitly selected are analyzed by AI, with transparency and control as guiding principles.

Companies can use Acrobat Studio to streamline workflows. Sales and marketing teams can analyze customer insights and immediately convert them into presentations. Financial teams can summarize and visualize reports. Legal and compliance departments can also check and share documents more quickly.

Availability and price

Acrobat Studio is available worldwide in English and offers a 14-day free trial. After that, the starting rate is 28.99 euros per month for individuals.
