HPE presents its latest security portfolio, including a new AI-driven SASE copilot, enhanced data recovery via HPE Zerto, and a collaboration with CrowdStrike.

HPE unveiled its updated security portfolio at Black Hat USA 2025, combining HPE Aruba and Juniper Networking technologies for the first time. The company introduced an AI-driven SASE copilot, improved network access control, and new threat detection capabilities.

Additionally, HPE launches the Alletra Storage MP X10000, a high-performance scalable backup solution, and a new integration hub in HPE Zerto Software, enabling advanced recovery from cyberattacks in collaboration with partner CrowdStrike.

Networking and Data Protection

HPE has presented its combined network portfolio for the first time since the acquisition of Juniper Networks. The portfolio now includes HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking, focusing on secure, scalable network infrastructures with zero trust principles. Central to this is the new AI-supported SASE copilot for EdgeConnect, which analyzes network activity and detects risks.

Additionally, HPE introduces new security measures in its network platforms, including extensive network access control (NAC) for external systems, real-time app classification via AppEngine, and proactive web security with URL filtering.

Alletra Storage MP X10000

In terms of storage and data protection, HPE launches the Alletra Storage MP X10000. This all-flash storage combines high processing speeds with scalability and is optimized for backup and recovery processes. According to HPE, the solution achieves backup speeds of up to 1.2 petabytes per hour. It collaborates with data protection platforms such as Commvault, Cohesity, and Veeam.

HPE Zerto Software receives an integration hub that connects the platform with external security tools. CrowdStrike is the first partner to integrate with the new hub. This collaboration enables threat detection and immediate automated recovery activation. The integration is also linked to the HPE Cyber Resilience Vault, which combines multiple HPE components in an air-gapped environment for recovery after ransomware attacks.

HPE further strengthens this strategy with a new Center of Excellence for cybersecurity. This center validates systems against common ransomware variants, aiming to align its storage and network technology with current threats and compliance requirements, including U.S. government standards like CISA, STIG, and FIPS. The new products are available now or by the end of 2025.
