Fortinet introduces new next-generation FortiGate G-Series firewalls that help businesses strengthen their protection against cyber threats.
Fortinet is introducing the FortiGate 70G, 50G and 30G, new next-generation firewalls (ngfw’s) that help organizations improve their cybersecurity and network performance. Designed for businesses with distributed IT environments, the appliances run on Fortinet’s proprietary ASIC technology and FortiOS operating system.
Improved security and efficiency
The FortiGate G Series combines network performance with advanced security. The firewalls offer faster detection and neutralization of cyber threats through AI-powered FortiGuard Security Services. For example, the new FortiGate 70G is expected to deliver up to 11 times faster IPsec VPN throughput and 7 times faster firewall throughput than the market average. In addition, the model consumes 62 times less energy per Gbps for IPsec VPN traffic and 42 times less for firewall traffic.
