Arctic Wolf introduces SwarmView, a feature that shows how AI agents and human experts investigate threats. The beta version will become available this autumn in the Arctic Wolf Portal.
Arctic Wolf is launching SwarmView, a new feature for the Aurora Agentic SOC. It gives customers insight into how the Swarm of Experts, a group of AI agents, investigates, validates and responds to threats. Attacks move faster than human teams can keep up with, so organisations increasingly rely on AI for security decisions. According to the company, that trust is a prerequisite for broader adoption. SwarmView will become available this autumn as a beta version in the Arctic Wolf Portal.
Transparency as a challenge
The SANS 2026 AI Survey shows that 40 percent of security leaders see transparency and trust in AI decisions as the biggest challenge when integrating AI. Security managers want to know how threats are investigated, how conclusions are reached and where human expertise plays a role.
Until now, that process largely took place behind the scenes. SwarmView makes it visible to customers through a single tool. The feature builds on the AI Trust Engine, which validates every decision, including those made by AI.
Swarm of Experts
Arctic Wolf introduced the Swarm of Experts framework earlier this year. The framework can plan and execute actions for most cybersecurity goals, rather than limiting itself to individual tasks such as triage or investigation. The swarm consists of hundreds of agents that handle tasks from start to finish. Human analysts validate the result.
Nick Schneider, president and CEO of Arctic Wolf, says organisations rely on AI for important decisions, but cannot simply trust it without transparency. According to him, security teams had to trust results for too long without understanding how they came about. With SwarmView, the company wants to set a new standard for accountability and trust in AI-driven security operations.
SwarmView
Customers can review a complete investigation, from the first signal to the final conclusion. They see which agents contributed, how each of them carried out every step and how the conclusion was reached. They can also follow the defence chain. Events and the measures taken are visible in a single overview at every phase. Customers also see how their own environment was factored into the decision-making process.
Finally, SwarmView shows when a human steps in. Customers can check where and when a decision was handed over to a human expert and why that decision was made.
