“We’re investing in innovation and growing our ecosystem,” explains CEO Rajiv Ramaswami. “The integration of Nutanix with Dell Powerflex is now generally available,” he continues. “And now we’re going to support Pure.” The audience responds with quite an enthusiastic applause.

The Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure solution, powered by the Nutanix AHV hypervisor and Nutanix Flow virtual networking and security, will be integrated with Pure Storage FlashArray via NVMe/TCP.

Choices and Simplicity

The joining of forces fits into Nutanix’s strategy. The company wants to give customers freedom of choice in infrastructure, but also offer simplicity. Those already working with Pure Storage can request early access. Conversely, new customers get the option to choose Nutanix on top of Pure Storage solutions, alongside Dell Powerflex and other hardware.

Nutanix expects early access to be available by summer. General availability will follow by the end of this year through both Nutanix and Pure Storage channel partners.

Flashstack

On stage, Ramaswami further showcases an example of an extensive integrated full stack solution: the FlashStack with Nutanix.

It combines flash from Pure Storage with networking and servers from Cisco and software from Nutanix. Into one complete package. This solution is planned for the end of 2025.
