From now on, you can play videos immediately after placing them in Google Drive.
Google announces via a blog post that from now on, users will be able to watch videos at the moment you upload them to Drive on the Internet. This will reduce wait times between uploading and playing videos in Drive. The feature is available to all Google Workspace customers, individual Workspace subscribers and users with personal Google accounts.

As of now, Google Drive allows you to preview videos at the time you upload them into Drive. This is mainly a handy feature for users who want to collaborate quickly or view and edit the videos. According to Google, this much-needed feature helps eliminate wait times between upload and playback, while still fully processing your videos.
