ServiceNow Pushes AI Tower Platform into Microsoft Ecosystem

ServiceNow’s AI platform now works with Microsoft services.

ServiceNow integrates its AI platform with Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, and GitHub. The collaboration should give companies more control over how they deploy AI in Microsoft applications.

The integration makes it possible to centrally manage digital assistants from Microsoft and ServiceNow via the AI Control Tower from ServiceNow. Companies can thus apply uniform rules across different AI applications and better monitor safety, performance and return.

One Dashboard for all Data

Through the new integration, the ServiceNow AI platform automatically recognizes Microsoft assistants, which can be managed from a single dashboard. From conversations in Microsoft Team to emails in Outlook and documents in Word: ServiceNow unites all data in one platform. Companies can use this dashboard to analyze risks, tighten security and adjust the AI where necessary. The integration with Microsoft Foundry and Copilot Studio also makes it possible to better align AI assistants with internal company rules. They have the same access rights as employees.

Support for Developers and Productivity

For developers, there is a collaboration between ServiceNow Build Agent and GitHub. The AI agent can perform repetitive tasks on GitHub, such as creating pull requests, while developers retain control. This speeds up the development process without loss of quality.

In addition, there will be an integration between the AI Experience of ServiceNow, Now Assist and Microsoft Agent 365. This makes it possible to connect emails, chats and documents in Microsoft 365 with ServiceNow. AI assistants thus gain more context and can perform tasks, summarize information or start workflows within the familiar Microsoft environment.

The new features will be rolled out by the end of 2025.
