Proximus and Mistral AI launch a joint AI offering available to organizations in the Benelux and other European countries. The services run on fully European infrastructure.
Proximus NXT, the B2B arm of the telecom provider, will now collaborate with the French Mistral AI to give organizations access to various AI solutions. The offering includes applications such as AI Studio, Le Chat, and Mistral Code. All services are managed via Proximus’s secure cloud infrastructure. This allows organizations to deploy AI without compromising on data security or control over their data.
The collaboration targets companies in Europe that want to use AI within a locally hosted and managed environment. Proximus takes on the full technical management, including monitoring, security, updates, and performance. According to both parties, the solution is suitable for various applications such as virtual assistants, document automation, customer support, and data analysis.
Aligned with European Regulations
With this initiative, the two companies aim to respond to the increasing demand for AI services that comply with European data protection regulations. The infrastructure is entirely European and complies with current standards for cybersecurity and data management.
The collaboration aligns with Proximus NXT’s broader strategy to further expand its offering of managed IT services in Europe. Simultaneously, through this channel, Mistral can make its products more widely available on the European market without compromising on control or security. The services are aimed at organizations that want to deploy AI solutions but explicitly choose a manageable and local rollout.
“Artificial intelligence is a powerful lever for competitiveness, but it must remain manageable, secure, and accessible. Together with Mistral AI, we offer organizations a high-performing and sovereign solution that can adapt to their needs, whether they are active in the Benelux or in other European countries,” says Fabrice De Windt, Enterprise IT Services & Segments Lead at Proximus Next.
