Google is launching a new AI tool that can automate workflows between different Workspace services. Additionally, Google Docs is getting new AI capabilities, including the popular podcast feature.
At the Google Cloud Next event, Google is launching various new AI features such as Workspace Flows, as well as some interesting functions for Google Docs. Soon it will be possible to create audio versions of documents, just like it’s already possible with audio summaries in NotebookLM.
Workspace flows
One of the most notable additions to the AI lineup is Google Workspace Flows. With this AI tool, users can automate workflows between different Workspace services. You simply need to describe what needs to happen, after which Google creates a special AI agent that will perform this work for you within the Workspace apps.
Audio functions
The popularity of Google NotebookLM’s podcast feature quickly translates into new similar applications, but this time in Docs. Google is launching a new audio feature within Docs that allows users to generate audio versions of their documents, in full audio form or podcast style.

In addition, there is a “Help Me Refine” function available in Docs. This tool assists you with suggestions to strengthen arguments or improve the structure of your texts. This feature will initially be available in English.
