AWS announced numerous new artificial intelligence (AI) functionalities for Bedrock at its re:Invent conference.
Amazon presented new AI functionality for Bedrock at its AWS re:Invent conference. During the presentation, the focus was on the three building blocks that make AWS so beloved by its users: compute, storage and databases, and more specifically on the evolution of AI in those areas. AWS is building on those capabilities during Re:Invent, adding one more: inference.
Novelties
Amazon Bedrock now supports RAG(retreival augmented generation) evaluation. With that, Bedrock uses an LLM to optimize RAG using the Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases.
Model distillation makes it possible to transfer knowledge from the larger models to smaller and more efficient models specific to the user’s use case. According to Amazon, Bedrock generates answers based on text prompts, and based on that, creates a smaller model that focuses on users’ needs.
Bedrock Agents can soon collaborate with multiple agents to perform complex processes. Lastbut not least, Bedrock is capable of automated reasoning. That means it can mathematically prove whether something is correct or not, preventing hallucinations.
