Akkodis Belgium has opened a new regional office in Liège, in the Hauts-Sarts industrial zone. The hub aims to strengthen collaboration with Walloon industrial and technological clients.

The new location brings Akkodis teams closer to clients in defense, high-tech, energy, mobility, and mechanical engineering. From Liège, the company supports Thales, Safran, FN Herstal, John Cockerill, BeCOVER, and Snel Graphics, among others. With physical proximity, Akkodis aims to respond more quickly with local partners and better follow up on projects on the ground.

Defense and Industry Clients

The hub mainly focuses on companies in and around the Liège region, a concentration of defense and industrial activities. According to the company, the proximity to the local ecosystem makes it easier to deploy multidisciplinary teams. This applies to both engineering projects and IT assignments.

The office at Rue Fond des Fourches 21 in Vottem has been operational since last week. From there, Akkodis collaborates with both large industrial groups and specialized players. Services range from consultancy and project execution to deploying technical profiles at clients.

Closer to Clients

The opening in Liège is part of its Belgian strategy where Akkodis aims to work closer to clients. The company emphasizes regional presence, attracting technical talent, and supporting digital transformation. The hub is also intended to help keep Walloon profiles employed in the region.
