Ghent-based IT partner ITAF joins Geniki

business hands handshake

ITAF from Ghent becomes part of Geniki and expands its strength and expertise through collaboration with technology partner.

ITAF joins the Geniki group. The IT company, headquartered in Ghent, will continue to operate independently, but will gain access to additional support, economies of scale, and additional technological knowledge through the collaboration.

“ITAF brings specialized knowledge and an extensive portfolio of managed IT and IT security services to the group: from robust cloud infrastructures and high-performance connectivity to proactive monitoring and IT support,” says Dieter Van Houtte, CTO of ITAF.

Growth path

ITAF has been providing IT services to SMEs for more than 25 years, focusing on hybrid cloud environments, modern workplaces and IT security. By joining Geniki, the company aims to strengthen its position in the market and respond to larger and more complex IT issues.

Geniki is active as a technology partner in a variety of fields. The group combines strategic advice, headhunting, software development, IT support and digital security. According to both parties, a shared vision underlies the collaboration: delivering sustainable technological solutions with attention to the customer and employee.

Scale and specialization

“By integrating our experience in securing complex IT infrastructures and 24/7 monitoring into this ecosystem, we gain the scale needed for larger projects and joint innovation,” says Glenn Provoost, CEO of ITAF.

ITAF’s portfolio, including cloud infrastructure, proactive monitoring and IT security services, will complement the existing offering within Geniki. The connection means no change in service for ITAF’s customers. They can continue to count on the same approach, with the added strength of a larger group.
