Dassault Systèmes is acquiring ArisGlobal for up to two billion dollars, aiming to strengthen its position in life sciences software.
Dassault Systèmes is acquiring software company ArisGlobal for approximately $1.8 billion in cash. An additional $200 million may be added if ArisGlobal meets multi-year AI revenue targets. The acquisition is intended to bolster Dassault Systèmes in B2B software for the life sciences sector.
Regulated processes
ArisGlobal provides a platform for compliance, patient safety, quality, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs. The company aggregates data from these processes and from real-world patient data. This allows pharma companies, biotech players, medical technology manufacturers, and health authorities to monitor processes.
ArisGlobal has more than 200 customers, including half of the fifty largest biopharma companies worldwide. The platform processes more than twelve million patient safety reports annually. ArisGlobal has over 1,300 employees and expects $175 million in revenue in 2026.
Overarching AI platform
Dassault Systèmes intends to link ArisGlobal’s software with its own applications for research, clinical development, manufacturing, and quality. The company aims to bring together data from molecules, patients, and real-world results into a single platform.
ArisGlobal uses its NavaX platform to deploy AI in regulated environments. According to the company, customers can automate complex processes, increase data quality, and strengthen compliance. The acquisition should help Dassault Systèmes deliver AI at a larger scale in clinical processes.
The companies have signed a definitive agreement. The transaction is still awaiting regulatory approval and other customary conditions. Dassault Systèmes expects to complete the acquisition in the second half of 2026.
