Satori offers real-time access management, data discovery, classification, and monitoring capabilities. The solution is agentless, cloud-native, and suitable for integration with platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. According to Commvault, this simplifies the enforcement of data usage policies and the protection of sensitive data, even when used in AI models like Large Language Models.
Compliance and Governance
Satori’s technology is designed to help companies comply with regulations and reduce the risks of data breaches or misuse of sensitive information. It allows them to better monitor data flows to AI models and intervene when necessary. Commvault links these capabilities to its existing backup and cleanroom workflows to enable the recovery of AI data according to compliance guidelines.
With the acquisition, Commvault aims to meet the needs of organizations operating in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The acquisition is expected to be completed in August 2025.
