Cheops Takes over Part of Systemat to Strengthen its Position in Brussels and Wallonia

With the acquisition of Systemat Talent Solutions, Cheops aims to strengthen its position as a Managed Service Provider in Belgium and extend its services to the French-speaking part of the country.

The Kontich-based IT service provider Cheops is taking over the Talent Solutions division of IT company Systemat. With this acquisition, Cheops is expanding its presence in Brussels and Wallonia and strengthening its managed services offering. The integration of more than forty IT professionals increases Cheops’ capacity, bringing it to over five hundred employees. At the end of last year, Cheops acquired Nimble to expand its range of modern and secure workplaces.

More Regional Spread

According to Cheops, the acquisition fits in with the strategy of having a broader presence in Belgium. The company’s service capacity is growing, especially in French-speaking Belgium. Systemat customers retain their familiar points of contact, but also gain access to Cheops’ existing managed services, including cloud, workplace management and cybersecurity.

Cheops states that this step will enable it to respond better to local customer needs. At the same time, the integration offers more opportunities for employees to grow. Systemat employees join Cheops’ existing teams and gain access to internal training programs via the Cheops Academy.

Employees and Customers

For existing Cheops customers, the acquisition means an expansion of services to Brussels and Wallonia. This strengthens the company’s regional anchoring and improves accessibility for customers in those regions.

Cheops also sees advantages for its own organization. The expansion makes additional expertise available and increases operational efficiency. The shared focus of both companies on talent development and customer focus should facilitate cooperation between the different teams.

Systemat will continue to exist, but will lose part of its activities with this acquisition.
